After a very long day of trains...also comes with a story...we arrived in Munich. Within the first few min we knew we were going to like this city.We found our apartment with ease and it was nice to have a little home to ourselves. Brennan still wasn't feeling well so we took that night easy and relaxed. The next two days we explored Munich by foot. It is such a great city - very clean, polite people, very good English, and of course great food! I got to fill my love for pretzels :) Today we're on our last train ride for the trip - on our way to Berlin on a high speed German train.
[ LAUTERBRUNNEN ] Sneak Peek
Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland is like a fairy tale village tucked away in a valley of waterfalls. We arrived in Lauterbrunnen after a long day of train switches and rainy weather. The weather during our stay hadn't been the greatest and really we've figured out that we are about 3 weeks to early for a stay in Laterbrunnen. However, we have made the most of our 2 day stay by taking a train ride to the top of Europe and hiking on a snowy trail. Lauterbrunnen has truly been something special. Now we're looking forward to Munich, Germany!
[ ANNECY ] Sneak Peek
We rolled into Annecy at around 3pm on Thursday. We met our lovely hosts, settled in, and then hit the town. Simply put, Annecy is beautiful! I could go on and on, but I'll let the photos do the talking :) To kick off our first full day, we biked around the entire lake. That's a 40km bike ride, and we did it in about 3hrs. Then, we relaxed and wandered around town to do some shopping :)
On our second full day, we hiked Mont Veyrier. It was difficult, but rewarding - the views were simply stunning!
Next stop is Lauterbrunnen! See you in a few days!
[ PARIS ] Sneak Peek
We arrived in Paris mid afternoon on Monday after a ride through the Chunnel. As the saying goes "Paris is always a good idea". I had planned to take it easy the first night, however we were both too excited and immediately started to explore and cross things off the list for Paris. Time in Paris will never be enough. Our two days were full of amazing sites with lots of wonderful memories. Although we're sad to leave, we are also looking forward to Annecy, and we are already looking forward to next time. Au Revoir Paris!
[ LONDON ] Sneak Peek
First of all, I'll be posting a sneak peak from every place we are visiting on our Europe trip. Once we are home and have some time, I'll put together a proper post on each city. We arrived in London on May 2nd after a long flight. After settling in & freshening up, we headed out to the pub around the corner and then off exploring.
Today, we woke up bright and early, after a jet-lagged sleep and headed out for a full day of walking. We left the apartment around 9:30am and got back at about 6:30pm. We are tired! We are also feeling very confident in our ability to navigate the underground, minding the gap, and knowing when to look left or look right :)
[ Wedding ] Nicole & Charlie
In January, I flew off to Montego Bay, Jamaica to photograph the beautiful wedding of Nicole & Charlie. The wedding was gorgeous. It rained during part of the ceremony, I stood in the rain for most of it! but right after the hot sun came out and it was beautiful. Nicole and Charlie, I had so much fun capturing your wedding, and thank you so much for including me in all of your celebrations.
Jamaica Trip 2014
In January I flew off to Montego Bay, Jamaica to photograph a beautiful wedding. Jamaica was amazing. And even though it rained for a good portion of the days there, I still managed to get burnt on the last day :p I was so happy to go on this trip, not only to photograph a gorgeous beach wedding, but because my wonderful friend, Juli (who is a great photographer) and her family, were also going to be there. We had so much fun together, just like old times!
Here's a few pics from the trip.
[ Wedding ] Bobbi & Paul
Bobbi and Paul are two of my favourite people. These two know how to throw a wedding weekend extravaganza. Both their Indian and Western ceremonies were so special, and I'm so honoured to have been asked to capture one of their special days. Just look at her dress, such amazing detail, the pretty henna, and of course Paul looks pretty handsome too :) Bobbi & Paul tied the knot last year in September, and these love birds are now in Europe on their honeymoon! I love you both so much and I hope you're having the best time ever!

[ Maternity ] The Ali Family
How cute is this family?!I had so much fun taking maternity photos for the Ali family. This shoot was back in December 2013 on a beautiful day at the H&M Christmas Tree Farm in Richmond, and these guys were such troopers! Sorry about the mud guys! Since then, they have welcomed a beautiful baby girl. That post is still to come. Here are some of my favourites of the day. Isn't their little guy just so adorable?!
